What We Do
At Pictura, we’re all about playful creativity, colourful mess, and making memories together. Whether you're 5 or 85, you'll love getting stuck into pottery painting, canvas art, or one of our themed workshops — all set in our relaxed, pastel-filled studio. Book a table with friends, bring the family, or join us for one of our lively paint-and-sip nights. We’ve got take-home kits too, so the fun doesn’t have to stay in the studio. Q: What are the parking and public transportation options when visiting Pictura?A: At Pictura, due to our city centre location, we do not have our own parking facilities. However, we're conveniently situated just 10 minutes from Chester train station, making rail travel a viable option. For those using bus services, there are a couple of bus stops close by that offer ease of access. If you prefer to drive, the nearest car parks include Linen Hall, the New Market, and Delamere Street Underground. We recommend these options for a smoother visit to Pictura.

Q: How long does it take for painted pottery to be ready for collection at Pictura, and what is the process for collecting it?A: At Pictura, painted pottery will typically be available for collection within 3 weeks. However, we kindly ask you to allow additional time during school holidays and seasonal holidays due to higher demand. Once your pottery is ready, you will receive an email notification with instructions to make a collection appointment. Q: How long is a reservation at Pictura's studio, and what happens if I need more time to finish my project?A: At Pictura, each reservation provides you with a 2-hour time slot in the studio. This policy is designed to ensure that everyone gets a fair amount of time to work on their projects. If you find that you need more time to finish your masterpiece, we offer a return studio fee of £5 per person. This fee gives you an additional two hours and access to all the materials you need to complete your piece. This flexible option allows you to work at your own pace and ensures that all our patrons have a great experience.
