What’s New at Pictura Chester – Summer 2026 Updates
There’s plenty happening at Pictura Chester this summer, and we wanted to share some exciting updates about new products, creative opportunities and upcoming launches.
Take Home Kits Have Arrived
We’re delighted to announce that our first range of Take Home Kits is now available to order online.
Our launch collection features fun Clay Sculpting Kits, giving children and adults everything they need to create their own clay characters from the comfort of home. Whether you’re looking for a rainy-day activity, a creative gift, or a screen-free family project, these kits are a fantastic way to enjoy crafting wherever you are.
Even more exciting, this is only the beginning. We’re already working on expanding the range with additional creative projects, seasonal activities and new ways to bring the Pictura experience home.
Arty Party At Home Kits Coming Soon
Love our creative parties but want to celebrate at home?
We’re currently developing our new Arty Party At Home Kits, designed to make hosting a creative celebration easier than ever. Each kit will include enough materials for your chosen number of guests, including canvases, paints, brushes and everything needed to create a memorable arty experience at home.
Perfect for birthdays, family gatherings and special occasions, these kits will bring creativity straight to your front door.
Summer Workshops Are Now Open
Over at The Art School Chester, bookings are now open for our Summer Workshop programme.
With a fantastic selection of creative workshops planned throughout the summer holidays, there are opportunities for children, teenagers and adults to learn new skills, explore their creativity and enjoy hands-on artistic experiences.
Many workshops have limited spaces available, so early booking is recommended.
A Fresh New Look for The Art School
Visitors to The Art School Chester will notice some exciting changes.
Both classrooms have recently been fully redecorated and refurnished, creating brighter, more comfortable and inspiring spaces for workshops, classes and creative events. The improvements have transformed the learning environment and we’re looking forward to welcoming students into the refreshed studios.
Crochet Club Launching Soon
We’re also preparing to launch something completely new at Pictura Chester.
Our upcoming Wednesday Morning Crochet Club will offer a relaxed and welcoming way to learn crochet in the heart of our Creative Café. Each session will guide participants through new techniques and projects, making it suitable for complete beginners as well as those looking to build their skills week by week.
Enjoy a hot drink, learn something new and spend time with fellow creative people in a friendly environment.
