Pictura Chester – Website Terms & Conditions
By placing an order with Pictura Chester, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. About Us
Pictura Chester is a creative studio and café located at 5 Eastgate Row North, Chester, CH1 1LQ, United Kingdom.
2. Products
We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, prices and availability are accurate. As many of our products are handmade, hand-finished or individually painted, slight variations in colour, size and finish may occur.
3. Orders
Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where a pricing error, stock discrepancy or other issue has occurred.
4. Payment
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. Prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.
5. Click & Collect
Where Click & Collect is offered, customers will be notified when their order is ready. Orders should be collected within a reasonable period after notification.
6. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates only and may vary. Pictura Chester is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, adverse weather conditions or circumstances outside our control.
7. Gift Cards
Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost, stolen or expired gift cards cannot be replaced or refunded.
Gift cards are valid only at Pictura Chester and cannot be used at The Art School Chester.
8. Workshops, Events & Bookings
Workshop and event bookings are subject to the cancellation policies stated at the time of booking. Failure to attend a booked session may result in the booking fee being forfeited.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images, logos, designs and text, remains the property of Pictura Chester and may not be reproduced without permission.
10. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the goods or services purchased. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights under UK law.

Refund & Returns Policy
Pictura Chester – Refund & Returns Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains your rights and how returns and refunds are handled.
Standard Retail Products
If you change your mind about a non-personalised item purchased online, you may return it within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a refund:

• The item must be unused and in its original condition.

• The item must be returned in its original packaging where possible.

• Proof of purchase must be provided.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order with photographs where applicable.
We will offer:

• A replacement;

• A repair where appropriate; or

• A full refund.

Personalised & Made-to-Order Products
Personalised, custom-made or commissioned items cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty or damaged.
Pottery & Ceramic Items
Ceramics are handmade and kiln-fired products. Minor variations in colour, glaze finish, texture or appearance are part of the creative process and do not constitute faults.
While every effort is made to ensure quality, occasional firing imperfections can occur due to the nature of ceramics.
Workshops, Events & Experiences
Booking fees and event tickets are non-refundable unless:

• The event is cancelled by Pictura Chester; or

• Required by applicable consumer law.

Gift Cards
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 working days.
